La Grande Roche - Courchevel 1850
As you board the helicopter at Chambéry airport and it begins to descend in the direction of the airfield of Courchevel you feel that you return to your home. This longed-for moment comes true as you glide over the Bellecôte Glacier and see snow covered Dent du Villard peak. Again you will spend the best New Year's Eve in Courchevel 1850. Excited children try to agree on what their favorite ski slope is. It is difficult to choose one being Les Trois Vallées the largest domain in the world!
You just landed at the Courchevel airfield and your chauffeur is waiting to take you and your family to La Grande Roche chalet. As you get off the helicopter a warm mountain sun welcomes you and a breath of cold air floods your lungs. Your chauffeur reassures you that the weather forecasts for this week could not be more encouraging. New Year's Eve is the perfect date to launch your new Ski Foil brand super skis. Again you'll be the envy of the tracks!
As you approach La Grande Roche you have the impression that time has stopped. This Savoyan-style chalet with traditional slate roofs and stone construction appears magically amidst a whitish landscape covered with fir trees. Your personal butler comes out to greet you and accompany you to what will be your home. Seven fantastic ski days await you and seven nights in front of the fireplace accompanied by yours.
After the intense day of skiing, you feel like relaxing. While you make the last descent of the day by the blue track of Cospillot, which takes you to the chalet, you have the feeling of wearing the bathrobe. You're even thinking of getting in with your skis in the outdoor jacuzzi of your chalet! Although you know that it would not be proper of a gentleman.
Once inside the jacuzzi, enjoy a beautiful sunset and toast with Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage of 1996 for the New Year that is about to arrive. The children in the movie theater, under the supervision of your nanny, come running to let you know that your personal chef already has the New Year dinner list. Your only concern is to dress up and enjoy dinner.
