Looking for paradise? Here you will find a piece of it.

As you set your feet on Lombok, an island surrounded by the Indian Ocean, you instantly feel you have traveled back in time to the Bali that existed 20 years ago. Its untouched landscape boasts mighty waterfalls, white-sand beaches and impressive coral reefs that invite you to enjoy this tropical setting at its very best.

The message “Stop Making Sense” written on the entrance wall of Villa Sapi is a statement of intent. This is a lavish retreat, set on the remote white sands of Sira Beach, to whisk you away from the everyday world.

Villa Sapi (“cow” in Indonesian) is set on a huge coconut grove that had been grazing land for cows and is now the result of a a demonstration of love from a daughter to her father. Marie-Anne V worked hand in hand with architect David Lombardi to create the dream house of her predecessor. It resulted in an odd shaped ultra modern living space that seamlessly blends with the property’s grass and palm tree gardens that lead down to a cerulean private beach.

Once you enter this haven of peace it is hard to leave, but a whole world is waiting for you to discover outside! First stop are  the Gili Islands that are just a 5-minute boat ride from the villa. Their waters hide a genuine paradise for scuba diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. A plan that will delight young and old.

Still got some energy left? Drive towards the interior of Lombok to discover the second biggest volcano in Indonesia, Mount Rinjani, with the whole family. Taking a refreshing dip in Crater Lake is the best reward after this adventure.

At the end of the day, gather around the dining table al fresco, next to the villa’s beautiful fishponds. Chef Kantun’s creations will simply blow you away.

Villa Sapi is a place for spontaneity and disconnection from your agitated lifestyle - barefoot luxury at its best!

Family friendly

Villa Sapi is family friendly. You will have access to your own private swimming pool, living space and gardens while also having the freedom to use them whenever you want. Villa Sapi offers many leisure options for kids thanks to its enormous open garden, tennis court, table tennis, bikes, kayaks, a 20m kids’ pool, a funky TV room with beanbags, DVDs, board games and toys. Cutting-edge architecture

This contemporary villa offers a refined design from the moment you set foot on it. All rooms have different shapes and the materials that were used to built them are traditional Indonesian ones. The outdoor showers adjoining the master bedroom will allow you to contemplate the stunning landscape. All rooms are set up in an open plan, so that nature is part of the house.

Beachfront accommodation

The house is located on a private beach, Sira beach, that only residents in the villa have access to. This guarantees high levels of privacy especially for those who are seeking to relax and disconnect. This is also a suitable place to celebrate private events with intimacy.

Villa Sapi is a single-storey residence masterpiece on the peaceful island of Lombok, Indonesia. This exclusive accommodation is bordered by the almost deserted Sira Beach and its turquoise waters. The avant-garde architecture of the house was designed by the Canadian architect David Lombardi who has given priority to ‘function over form’. Villa Sapi has a contemporary style and uses a mix of traditional elements such as ulin (a hard wood used for the roof construction), batu chandi (lava rock) or paras (sandstone) to create timeless aesthetics.

The house is furnished with different colors such as black, red and lime green. Walls are adorned with  bamboo, water cascades and conceptual artwork. The main building is entered via a timber pathway, lined with fire torches that incorporates the living and dining areas, kitchens, three of the five bedrooms, study room and a home theatre. The bathrooms and the bedrooms offer astonishing views of the sea, sky, neighboring islands, distant mountains and colorful fishing boats.

Villa Sapi with 26,910 sq ft (2,500 m2) is organized into a main building with three bedrooms, a stand-alone guest pavilion with two bedrooms and an office room with an additional convertible bed. Both of the accommodations have their own private swimming pools.
